Fredrik K.B.
Fredrik K.B. is a Norwegian sculptor whose work explores the meeting point between material, myth, and memory. Working primarily in marble, Scandinavian granite, and bronze, he approaches each piece as a collaboration with the stone itself—revealing rather than imposing form. His sculptures embody a quiet tension between weight and movement, permanence and transformation.
Drawing inspiration from Norse mythology and timeless archetypes, Fredrik’s figures—torsos in motion, mythic beings, and dragons—serve as vessels of cultural resonance. Through his hands, the rigidity of stone gives way to fluidity and grace, inviting reflection on the enduring dialogue between the human spirit and the natural world. His work speaks to both the ancient and the contemporary, grounding myth in material while elevating material into myth.
