Gianna Tesone

Gianna Tesone is a contemporary abstract painter and multimedia artist based in New York City. She is influenced by color theory, movement, texture, and the interplay and tension of juxtaposing elements of the natural world. From working in a variety of mediums including acrylic, oil, spray paint, pastels, graphite and repurposing of material, she applies a research-informed and scientifically influenced approach to traditional art making methods. She holds a BFA, specializing in painting, creative theory and art history from Point Loma Nazarene University and mentorship of internationally acclaimed artist Ty Nathan Clark. She has exhibited in museums, galleries, and neo-gallery settings of interdisciplinary feilds in the United States and will be attending international artist residencies and participating in national and international exhibitions in 2024. She actively works in collaborative settings alongside other artists, musicians, designers and entrepreneurs across the country and is actively pursuing research and educational initiatives while building her own business in the curatorial and marketing landscape of New York City.
