Greyya Jay

“There’s a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.” — Leonard Cohen

Greyya Jay is a sculptural relief artist; whom revels in the raw imperfections of her work.

Her work is intentionally understated through the use of muted monochrome color, in hopes that you can appreciate the subtle details and textures that create depth and dimensionality.

She experiments with various techniques to create the appearance of patina and natural weathering to achieve organic shapes reminiscent of an undone bed or the chips in a loved coffee mug.

Each piece is designed to be an immersive experience, inviting the viewer to explore the different contours and surfaces through touch and sight.
